Abstract
The paper examines the aspects of internal quality evaluation, the regulatory and legal quality assurance of education in higher education institution (HEI), the functional and process model of internal quality assurance, approaches to quality management, methods and activities used to meet the requirements for quality education. The aim of the article is to investigate the internal quality assurance framework based on international ESG standards and guidelines for quality assurance in higher education, which integrates quality policy, continuous monitoring and periodic assessment of educational programmes, as well as foreign models of internal quality assurance. The research methods of the internal quality assurance system of education are as follows: comparative analysis, evaluation and evolutionary methods.
