Abstract
Digitalization processes are transforming the field of education, promoting the introduction of artificial intelligence and the formation of new approaches to learning, which actualizes the study of opportunities to improve learning outcomes with the help of personalized adaptive systems. The purpose of the article is to evaluate the impact of artificial intelligence on educational processes and the effectiveness of personalized adaptive learning systems in improving academic achievements. The authors analyzed the positions of foreign and domestic researchers regarding the use of artificial intelligence in education and its impact on the personalization of the educational process. Particular attention is paid to assessing the use of adaptive technologies to individualize learning, their prospects, as well as positive and negative consequences. The article uses a qualitative methodology based on a systematic review of domestic and foreign literature, which examines the terms «artificial intelligence», «personalized learning». For this, three databases were used: WOS, Scopus, RSCI. The authors of the article provide detailed information about the latest scientific research on the implementation of artificial intelligence in educational systems and their impact on improving learning outcomes. The authors assessed the dependence of factors influencing the introduction of artificial intelligence in the field of education. The analysis of artificial intelligence methods and software algorithms for their implementation, as well as indices for assessing the degree of implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of education, presented in the article, became the basis for forecasting key trends in the development of adaptive learning systems until 2035. Recommendations have been developed to optimize the process of introducing artificial intelligence into education, aimed at improving the quality of education and solving priority problems in the context of the digital transformation of the educational sphere.
