Abstract
Ensuring the quality of teacher education today is an important priority of the state. This requires mechanisms and tools to ensure the quality of training of highly qualified personnel who are competitive in the labor market. One of the main mechanisms for improving the quality of education is accreditation, and accreditation standards are becoming the main tool. The author proposes the National Standard for Accreditation of Pedagogical Education, where its structure, principles, approaches, features, characteristics are considered. This standard is necessary to improve the quality of teacher training, will allow us to meet international requirements and further promote the culture of quality in teacher education. The purpose of the article is to explore the system of internal and external quality assurance of teacher education, to substantiate the relationship and close interaction of structures (universities, accreditation agencies, the authorized body and society) to increase the competitiveness and demand for graduates.
