Abstract
This article examines the impact of the digital platform economy on the structure of regional entrepreneurship and employment in Kazakhstan. The study analyzes the inequality of platform employment and entrepreneurship between urban and rural regions, and the development of new forms of work among youth (freelance, micro-entrepreneurship). The results show that the platform economy in Kazakhstan is concentrated mainly in large cities (Almaty, Astana), while rural regions experience infrastructural barriers. Although platform work offers flexibility, it poses risks regarding labor rights and social protection. The article concludes with recommendations for reducing regional inequality and legislative regulation of digital entrepreneurship.
