Abstract
Along with the implementation of federal programs to ensure employment and reduce unemployment, measures and measures to regulate the situation on the labor market in the regions of Russia are relevant. One of these regions is the Udmurt Republic, which is part of the Volga Federal District of the Russian Federation. The article gives a brief description of Udmurtia, an industrial region of Russia, and suggests topical practical measures to reduce the unemployment rate in the Udmurt Republic. The article provides a deep analysis of the development of priority sectors of the region. The purpose of the article is to determine ways to reduce unemployment based on a comprehensive analysis of the region. To study the problem, the main scientific methods were used: observation, collection, processing of information, comparative analysis, evaluation, generalization and forecast. The objectives of the study are to determine modern approaches to the issue of improving the socioeconomic development of the region and creating conditions for reducing unemployment and creating new jobs.
